Dr. Guntaka Nagasudha Lakshmi is a board-certified obstetrician and gynaecologist with extensive experience in women’s health. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred care to women of all ages.
Education and Training: Dr. Lakshmi obtained her MBBS degree from Andhra Medical College in 2015. She then went on to complete her MS in OBGY at Dr NTR University of Health Sciences in 2019. She furthered her expertise by pursuing an Advanced Diploma in ART and Reproductive Medicine from Kiel, Germany. Additionally, she holds an MRCOG Part 1 (UK) and a Certificate Course in Ultrasound in Pregnancy (FOGSI).
Academic Achievements: Dr. Lakshmi’s commitment to excellence extends beyond clinical practice. She has been recognized for her academic achievements, receiving prestigious awards such as the Rudrama Raju Chinna Subba Raju Medal in Gynecology (Gold Medal), the Dr. Krishna Kishore Medal in ENT (Gold Medal), and the Dr. S. Satya Murthy Prize in ENT (University Highest). She has also secured the First Prize in a Quiz on Gynecological Endocrinology at SRM OG Quest.
Clinical Experience: Dr. Lakshmi has gained valuable experience through her diverse clinical roles. She has served as a Senior Resident in the Department of OBGY at King George Hospital, Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, and a Junior Consultant in the Department of OBGY at Nikitha Hospital, Visakhapatnam. She has also held positions as a Registrar at Lotus Hospital for Women and Child, Visakhapatnam, and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at ABC Hospitals, Visakhapatnam. Currently, she serves as a Visiting Consultant at Lotus Hospital for Women and Child.
Publications: Dr. Lakshmi is actively involved in advancing medical knowledge through research and publication. Her work on Uterine Artery Doppler in 2nd Trimester as a Predictor of preeclampsia and Fetal Growth Restriction was published in the Indian Journal of Applied Research.
